I bought a V22 about a year ago, and I was never happy with the ten round magazine supplied by CZ, it's to short, and doesn't look right in the AR platform. (Danish Royal Guards have a 7 round mag in their Diemaco M16's and that looks shit too!)

So I questioned Sid from HSLD about making the magazine look a bit better.

There are several options available, there is the Southern Gun 25 round mag, which is banana shaped and is too curved to fit inside a .223 magazine, and too ugly to be used on it's own.

There is the Ciener magazine, which can be modified to work with the V22 and also will not fit quite right inside a normal AR mag, it sticks out of the bottom, and makes the magazine too long, which in my opinion is uglier than the SGC 25 round mag.

The other option is to mill down the sides on the V22 10rd mag, and slide it inside an adapted .223 magazine.

It takes very little time, with the V22 magazine needing milled and an SA80A1 magazine was used in this instance (HK SA80A2 magazines present a problem retaining the floorplate).
